What This Limited Warranty Covers
Arcadia Reptile Inc. (“Arcadia”) warrants to the original consumer purchaser that its lighting and heating products (excluding non-electrical accessories) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for the Warranty Period defined below.
Warranty Period
This Limited Warranty begins on the date of original retail purchase and continues for one (1) year. Proof of purchase showing the purchase date is required.
Who Is Covered
This Limited Warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable. This warranty applies only to products purchased from Arcadia or an authorized distributor or reseller in the United States.
What Arcadia Will Do
If a covered product is found to be defective during the Warranty Period, Arcadia will, at its sole option, replace the product with the same or a comparable product. Replacement is the sole and exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty.
How to Obtain Warranty Service
To obtain warranty service, you must:
1. Contact Arcadia at sales@arcadiareptileinc.com to initiate a claim.
2. Provide proof of purchase and a description of the issue.
3. If instructed, return the defective product to the address above.
You are responsible for the cost of shipping the product to Arcadia unless otherwise required by applicable law. Arcadia will cover the cost of shipping any replacement product back to you.What This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
• Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, or accident
• Damage resulting from maintenance
• Products purchased from unauthorized distributors or sellers
• Non-electrical accessories
• Products used in a manner inconsistent with instructions or intended use
• Products that have been modified or repaired by unauthorized persons
Disclaimer of Other Warranties
This Limited Warranty is the only express warranty made by Arcadia with respect to the product. No other express warranties or representations are made.
Limitation of Implied Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the Warranty Period stated above. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Arcadia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use or inability to use the product. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to other property. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.
